FAQ
What types of products can Greencoast source?
Greencoast sources vape hardware, packaging-related products, retail displays, fixtures, accessories, trade show materials, branded merchandise, promotional products, and custom-manufactured items.
The products shown on our website represent some of the most frequently requested categories, not the limits of what we can source. Our manufacturing network and sourcing capabilities extend across a much broader range of products.
Don’t see what you need? Ask us.
Can Greencoast help with design, engineering, and prototyping?
Yes. Greencoast offers a full range of product design and development services, from private-label branding and modifications to existing products to completely new product development.
Our capabilities include branding, custom colors and finishes, CAD and engineering, component modifications, prototyping, tooling, packaging development, and full custom manufacturing.
Come to us with a finished design, an existing product, a sketch, a reference image, or simply an idea. We can help turn it into a production-ready product.
How does shipping work?
Greencoast manages the logistics process from the manufacturer to your door.
In most cases, we provide DDP landed pricing, including freight, duties, customs clearance, and delivery to the agreed destination, so you understand your total landed cost before placing the order.
Shipping methods and timelines vary based on the product, order size, origin, and destination. Air, ocean, express, and other freight options may be available depending on the project.
What are the minimum order quantities?
Minimum order quantities, or MOQs, vary by product and level of customization.
Standard products and simple branding generally have lower MOQs, while custom colors, materials, components, tooling, molds, or completely new products may require larger production runs.
Your quote will clearly identify the applicable MOQ and, when available, alternative quantity and pricing options.
What is the typical turnaround time?
Turnaround time depends on the product, quantity, level of customization, production requirements, and shipping method.
Standard and lightly customized products typically arrive within approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the project and selected shipping method. Tooling, engineering samples, prototypes, and fully custom products require additional development and production time.
Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided with every quote.
How does Greencoast address compliance, certifications, and industry standards?
Compliance starts with the manufacturer.
Greencoast-approved manufacturing partners are screened for established quality-management systems and baseline certifications appropriate to the products they manufacture. Depending on the product category and facility, these can include internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001 for quality management systems, ISO 13485 for medical-device quality management systems, and other product- or industry-specific certifications and testing standards.
Where applicable, Greencoast works with manufacturers operating under current Good Manufacturing Practice, or cGMP, controls, including documented manufacturing processes, facility and equipment controls, material management, production procedures, quality systems, recordkeeping, testing, and corrective-action procedures.
Requirements vary by product, intended use, destination market, and applicable regulations. Before production, we identify the certifications, specifications, testing, documentation, and other requirements applicable to the project and incorporate them into the sourcing and manufacturing process.
Requested and applicable documentation can be provided with your order, including manufacturer certifications, testing reports, declarations, material specifications, inspection reports, and other compliance documentation identified in the project scope.
How does Greencoast control product quality?
Quality control begins long before the finished product is packed into a box.
GreencoastGO™ is our end-to-end quality-control system designed to establish measurable requirements before production, monitor those requirements throughout manufacturing, and identify potential issues before products leave the factory.
Product-specific requirements can include materials, dimensions, tolerances, components, performance, functionality, appearance, color, printing, assembly, packaging, labeling, and other defined acceptance criteria.
GreencoastGO™ incorporates internationally recognized quality-control practices, including Acceptance Quality Limit, or AQL, sampling methodologies based on ISO 2859-1 where appropriate. Inspections can classify defects by severity, establish acceptable lot thresholds, document inspection results, and trigger corrective action or reinspection when requirements are not met.
Depending on the project, GreencoastGO™ can include:
- Product specification and requirement review
- Manufacturer qualification
- Engineering or pre-production sample approval
- Material and component verification
- In-process production checks
- Defined critical, major, and minor defect criteria
- AQL-based sampling and inspection
- Functional and visual inspection
- Packaging and labeling verification
- Pre-shipment inspection
- Inspection documentation and reporting
- Corrective action and reinspection when required
We are involved from development through delivery, with one objective: catch potential problems during production, not after your products arrive.
Can I request samples before placing an order?
Yes. Samples are available for many standard products and are strongly recommended before placing a production order.
For custom-developed products, our process typically includes an engineering or pre-production sample set for review and approval before moving into full production.
Depending on the project, samples may include existing production samples, branded samples, engineering samples, prototypes, color or material samples, or final pre-production samples.
Can Greencoast source something I already buy?
Absolutely. This is often where Greencoast can deliver significant immediate value.
Send us the existing product, specifications, photographs, drawings, samples, or a current supplier quote. We’ll evaluate the product and your current supply chain to identify opportunities to improve pricing, quality, manufacturing consistency, logistics, or overall value.
In many cases, you can keep the product you already like while improving the economics behind it.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
It helps, but it isn’t required.
We’re equally comfortable working from detailed engineering specifications or helping turn an early-stage idea into a market-ready product.
You can come to us with complete specifications, an existing product, a competitor reference, a photograph, a rough sketch, or simply an idea.
Tell us what you need. We’ll help you figure out the best way to make it.
